NEWSTART® Program

The NEWSTART® Lifestyle Program is a holistic approach to maintaining and/or improving health. It is the registered trademark of Weimar Institute; and, it is an acronym which stands for eight components of a healthy, balanced, and peaceful life.

N = Nutrition
E = Exercise
W = Water
S = Sunlight
T = Temperance
A = Air
R = Rest
T = Trust in Divine Power

Sound too simple to be true? It isn't--and, it is. Research has shown that a lot of our health problems today stem from lifestyle. Changes in lifestyle habits (even in small ways), as indicated by the NEWSTART® components, can produce beneficial results. However, changing a habit is not always easy.

On the pages listed above you will find general and scientific information detailing why each component is necessary for better life and health. There are Facts to motivate and Tips to help you get started in applying these health principles into your health care program. Start by talking with your health care provider. Every person's health condition is different. Your personal physician or other health care provider can assist you in making an easier transition for better health based on where you are health-wise at the time. Working with your doctor, you can begin to make lifestyle changes that will enhance your quality of life. (Please read our Disclaimer.)

If you would like more of a "hands-on" approach to the NEWSTART® Lifestyle Program, contact the Lifestyle and Health Center of your choice. There are medical doctors associated with the centers; and, sometimes the centers are connected with hospitals in the area. The doctors will evaluate your health situation and work out a program based on your immediate health needs. And here's where these centers really help--Lifestyle Counsellors will assist and support you in each area. Cultivating a new lifestyle habit is easier when you're not doing it alone.
