Diana and Robert Bird
Diana Bird graduated from Pacific Union College in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Home Economics. For two years she taught on the secondary level, then
continued her studies at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. In
1968, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree (M.A.T.), with emphasis
in nutrition.
For 15 years Diana and her husband, Robert, resided in Taiwan where Diana gave
many nutrition seminars adapted to the local culture and diet. Since their return
to the United States in 1984, Diana has taught classes on the secondary level.
She was also involved in the establishment of a health rehabilitation center in
Oklahoma.
Diana's interest in contributing to the LifeandHealth.org web site
stems from her conviction that most of the diseases in the United States today,
such as high blood pressure, diabetes and arthritis, are related to lifestyle.
Medical research bears this out.
